The rules for buying and booking at ACME Foils, SiFly's sandbox store.
A sandbox store with real charges
ACME Foils exists so SiFly can test its storefront with real money. Prices are kept to a few dollars. A purchase or booking here is a real charge to your card or bank account, so only use the store if you are part of the SiFly team and know why you are here.
Orders
Shop items ship from the Canyon shop in Park City, Utah, for a flat $2. Utah sales tax of 7.55% applies.
Bookings
- Sessions (lessons, rental hours and the Launch Party) are booked for a set start time in the lake's local time.
- Multi-day rentals run for 2 to 14 days. A $5 hold is placed on your card at pickup and released after the gear comes back undamaged.
- Guided lessons are tax-exempt. Rentals and the Launch Party are taxed at the rate of the lake where they happen.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancel at least 72 hours before a lesson, rental hour or multi-day rental for a full refund. Later cancellations are not refunded. The booking page shows the policy for each item before you pay.
Paying by Zelle or check
The Zelle and check instructions shown at checkout are for testing the flow only. Do not send money by Zelle or post a check.
